Beetles, butterflies, moths: no creature is too big or small in the world of McQueen. For this latest season, the label’s creative director Sarah Burton utilises the running motif of the natural world, focusing on what is referred to as ‘extreme nature’. Scarab beetles’ armour acts as embroidered details, winged creatures spread out as kaleidoscopic prints and fastenings play up a theme of metamorphosis.
