Along with the illustrious Antwerp 6, Belgian designer Martin Margiela established a new approach to design that turned the fashion world on its head. Through deconstructing traditional silhouettes via exaggerated sleeves and reversed seams, he created a distinctive, minimalist aesthetic that garnered a cult following throughout the 1980s and 90s. Today, John Galliano continues the house's innovative legacy under the banner of Maison Margiela.
